Legal Nurses Rock Review: Save Your Money
You may have removed my review from all nurses, but good luck removing my review from a website.
You thought you would delete my review off of all nurses for “libel” and I would go away. Which is funny to me, because until you posted your little response to your paid members group, I wasn’t going to continue with this matter. But you lying, hiding the truth, and trying to say I am going on Amazon writing poor reviews on your child’s book (I didn’t even know you had a child of age that could write a book)? I will not tolerate that. What you seem to not understand (or maybe just want other people to think) is that there isn’t just one person who is dissatisfied with your program and your lies. I have texts from multiple other members showing who you really are. And since we’re in the spirit of being so nasty, do you care to comment on why a nurse ended up paying a 400+ dollar tab during your first vegas meet that you arranged? Do you care to comment why you showed up to an event lawyers were having to hound them like animals after their conference? Care to comment on why Rob Doxey is suddenly gone from the program? To write that I am lying, writing poor reviews on your child’s book, that I am I am writing letters to your business and that I am trying to “ruin” you? No, girlfriend. I posted my review to show people that amongst all of the positivity you tout and despite pretending like everything is perfect, that your program has problems. That your marketing is deceiving. It was a fair and yes, a bit harsh, of a review. But NOTHING I said was written out of anger or hatred or even bitterness. As I already stated, I wrote it for other nurses. I know how back breaking the bedside is and I didn’t want anyone to fall victim to your marketing (which, since you wanna argue that too, maybe you can explain why you got on facebook and said nurses are “quitting their jobs in three months”?) I am NOT whoever you pissed off in Vegas or whoever you’re trying to pin me as. I have, however, witnessed you do many, many things wrong. You blatantly told a nurse in the program to deceive a lawyer and not clarify information with him prior to agreeing to complete work. You’ve left nurses on your website waiting days for a response, but have time to have your team post stupid, useless positive quotes all over facebook and the website all day long. You don’t respond to emails. You never responded to mine and other members have said the same. You know, those of us with actual questions? Also, you say you have other experienced LNCs in the group - WHO, other then those that YOU trained and that WORK FOR YOU? Where are these experienced LNCs who were answering nurses questions? Don’t play dumb, Janice. You know nearly none of the original LNR members are still active or associate with you. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look at the active members on Facebook and see that they are literally not in the group at all. You know there is a large group of us who are still members but do not post, participate, or otherwise interact with you. I watched you kick a nurse out of a Zoom call for raising concerns. I watch how you post picture after picture of your glam, your photoshoots, and your fancy car. And I’ll say it again: NURSES in your program are paying for this. Please don’t come at me about “business expenses” I myself am a multi business owner, so I don’t need a lecture about expenses. I joined your program because I thought it would be another valuable stream of income for me. But what I found was that you are no better than anyone else who sells a course online, a true con artist. It just stings everyone a bit more because the conning is coming from a fellow nurse. A fellow nurse who is supposed to have honesty and integrity, both of which you severely lack. You thought you would silence me. You will not. I didn’t have a personal vendetta against you when I posted that review, but after seeing you send your team to post a fake response and work so hard to get my review taken down and accuse me of LIBEL, and seeing your disgusting, pathetic response to it in your private group, now I do have a problem with you. I will air every single piece of your dirty laundry to the nurse public and I will not feel sorry for it. I’m not afraid of you because I am speaking the TRUTH. So please, let’s discuss how you got a table in vegas and then told everyone at the end to “pitch in” at the end? What is wrong with you? Seriously, who arranges an event and then makes people pay for it unexpectedly? Was it not enough that you charged everyone nearly 10k for a useless program? I would NEVER have the audacity to arrange a TABLE for people and then make them pay? When they specifically came out to see you, and to learn from you? You showed up maybe three times to say hello. Not a single nurse got anything out of that event and you know it. That’s why so many original members left and never associated with you after that. Did you ever think maybe you should apologize?? You cry wolf time and time again, that people are “tearing you down” etc etc and the first time you posted a rant in the private facebook group, I actually felt sorry for you. I believed that you were being attacked and that whoever you pissed off in vegas was a mean and cruel person. But I’ve noticed you display the same pattern of behavior when you are criticized, even if the criticism is legitimate. You. Cry. Wolf. And have nothing to say other then to attack them. Why did you not address anything I said about your biz growth program? How it’s all general business information and email templates? Did I lie? Did you have something you wanted to add? Because if you disagree with that comment, you should say so. Tell me why I’m wrong. Truthfully, I was more than willing to hear that. I think it actually would have benefitted your selling to nurses business greatly, to respond to the statements I made about you. I guess it was easier to try to blast me and make up lies about me writing review under your child’s amazon book. Pitiful. I literally do not even know your child’s name. Isn’t your husband a judge, too? Are you really going to deny that that didn’t help you get your foot in the door with firms? Are you really going to deny that one of your members literally got lucky and walked into an office full of attorneys when she was there for unrelated business? Also, how is me stating that talking badly about your team members? It’s a fact, Janice. It’s a fact, and I promise you that I have receipts for days.
Tread lightly.

Original review:
I have seen several posts asking for a review of Janice Dolnick's Legal Nurses Rock (LNR) Program.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion based on my own experience, and is purely opinion-based. In this review, all mentions of speaking with other individuals are non-specific and cannot be verified, as I do not claim to have spoken to any specific person who may or may not have participated in this program.
Disclaimer: I have nothing to gain from posting this. I have no intention of "going after" Janice or her team. I have no intention of tarnishing her name. I truly wish her the best with her endeavors, as I am generally not a vengeful or negative person. The money I spent on this course is, at this point in time, insignificant to me now. I cannot really fully explain over a screen that I am not emotionally or financially invested in this, but believe me when I say, I do not care. What I do deeply care about, though, and have been thinking a lot about, is my fellow nurses - who are seeing this program, and have questions about what it is really like. As the program grows, I cannot help but feel compelled to speak out. As a long-timer at the bedside, I know exactly how hard we work. I know how alluring it can be when someone promises you all of your hopes and dreams and makes you think that their only goal is to help you achieve them. I know how depressing bedside has been for the last two years, and how many nurses are feeling desperate to find a way out. I simply cannot stand the idea that nurses are going to just throw their hard-earned money away to a program like this, without hearing all perspectives and opinions. When only one, the positive side, is presented, and the negative is silenced, (buried under toxic positivity and claimed to be "attacks") your ability to make an informed decision is taken away from you. I no longer work as a nurse, and although I had success as a new LNC, (in fairness, partially due to the content in this program), ultimately I have decided I am just not passionate about it and went elsewhere with my career, outside of nursing altogether (which I would share, but I am not comfortable disclosing, as it is too identifying). I say all of this to say - my intent of this post is to simply share my experience, so that you can decide what you want to do.
I will share each component of the course and then share some closing thoughts.
The program contains three parts - the introductory LNC portion (I cannot recall the official name), the "Mastery" portion, and the "Biz Growth" portion.
The first portion, the introductory LNC portion, used to be offered for $500 on the LNR website, prior to the creation of the "Mastery" and "Biz Growth". Those who bought the program, then later bought "Mastery" and "Biz Growth" are out an additional $500, because now the introductory portion is included in the "Mastery" and "Biz Growth" "package" which is around $9000. The team likens the purchase of the entire LNR course package to paying for a "college degree..." which would be true, except there is contradictory and misleading LNC information within the program, and you also don't graduate with an actual degree, and have no guaranteed job.
The first portion (introductory LNC) goes over general information that a nurse who wants to become an LNC should know, and is useful, but filmed and presented unprofessionally. It is a recording of a live session that Janice did at some point, complete with giveaways of mugs, etc to those who were in the live audience. Again, not professional, although good general LNC content. You cannot become an LNC with just this introductory information, as it is not nearly detailed enough. As mentioned, Janice used to charge $500 for this portion of the course, which is a bit of an overkill considering the lack of depth of information provided in the "course". Although you do learn useful information about law definitions and how the LNC can help an attorney, you do not learn how to actually do the job of an LNC.
The next portion, "Mastery" teaches you how to write LNC reports. This portion is actually very good, and if you break down the cost, this program would be approximately $4500 alone. You submit three practice reports and they are graded. The grading is not as detailed as it would be if you were in a college program and a professor was grading your essay (even though they claim it is, if you are a detail-oriented person you can tell your feedback is not), but it was pretty good. Feedback from other LNCs and attorneys from the reports I created from this program was actually very positive. If you are going to purchase any part of the program, this is the only part I would recommend you pay for.
The next portion, "Biz Growth" includes information on general business start-up (logo, LLC, etc) that can be found online. This portion also contains templates for calls and emails. I recall one user online stating that a template in the program (that was visible to 100+ members of the community by the way) was inaccurate. I really hope that person did not send that template out because that would not be good. Mistakes happen, but Janice did not apologize for this error or publicly acknowledge it (seems to be a running theme with her and her program). The templates look well crafted based on my knowledge of basic sales pitching, but this is the only valuable portion of the "Biz Growth" program, which, remember, is approximately $4000-5000. No matter how good they are, templates are not worth $4000. The live weekly calls are not personal as they were in the beginning of the program when there was only a handful of members, and unfortunately, quickly become filled with beginner questions. It is not the new members faults, they are instructed to ask questions. However, the purpose of these calls is advertised as being able to help members with their growth as business owners, but when the call is based around logos, "success" stories, etc. you actually do not get anything out of them at all unless you are truly new. As far as personalized email support, Janice states she checks email "day and night" for LNR - this is simply not true. Many students in the program have discussed how emails with specific questions go unanswered. Although mentorship is never explicitly offered in Biz Growth, the marketing leads you to believe it is. When you have a time-sensitive issue with an actual client, you will not get a time-sensitive answer (not during business hours, at least). You will see the LNR team positing positive quotes and photos in the portal and on socials, and you will have to wait for an actual answer (which, by the way, are sometimes extremely misleading).
Now, the other issues. First, the marketing for this program shares success stories of individuals who have since left the program (they are not active on the LNR portal and do not associate with Janice). This is not hearsay, and is very clearly evidenced. Many, many individuals who began the program less than a year ago are now inactive on the portal and on socials, minus one or two individuals. One individual in particular who is a "success story" is successful due to landing an office with a large number of attorneys by chance, and not from the contents of the LNR program (those of you who don't know, landing a large number of attorneys in one office is enough to sustain your self-employment and completely replace your nursing income, if you are receiving consistent work from them). For this to be touted as a success of the program when it was not so is....questionable at best. Janice spends time in the Biz Growth course talking about the importance of setting up socials and LinkedIn. If you take a look at her LinkedIn, she does not post anything at all (why would you advise those under you to do something you are not doing?) If you look at her socials, she spends the majority of her time posting on her nurse-driven pages, and not on her attorney-driven pages. She has ramped up her selling and posting to nurses exponentially in the last six months (you can see this, clear as day online). As someone in the program, I always found this extremely odd and it never sat right with me (why are nurses now the main clientele and not attorneys)? This is also frustrating when you as a member are not receiving responses to time-sensitive, actual situations with attorneys or clarification questions, but seeing marketing for buying the LNR course and positivity posts all over social media. Why is the program continuing to grow in members but the support from actual, educated LNCs outside of Janice herself is not there? There is not a single other professional, experienced LNC in this program who is publicly addressing questions and concerns posted by members, other than Janice herself. One would think that 100 members x $9000 per course purchased generates enough revenue to be able to offer actual support to paid members, but it appears to all be going to marketing efforts to recruit more nurses.
I am not saying you will not have success with the help of this program. There are members who are working as full-time LNCs and attribute their success to this program. I cannot argue that those individuals have had success and owe that to their own hard work/dedication and the content in LNC. I do also believe that these individuals are so committed to being successful, that they would have been successful without the course at all.
It seems that everyone nowadays wants you to pay for a course. Although I believe mentorship is extremely valuable, and I attribute my personal success to my mentors (who I did pay for, by the way, they just didn't nearly put me in debt), I also believe that in this day and age many individuals (and sadly, our own kind, our fellow nurses) are capitalizing on the concept of education, and using extremely convincing marketing tactics to make you believe that you can accomplish all of this success with ease, as long as you follow all the steps they teach you. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Remember when you see photoshoots, nice cars, etc on social media...someone is paying for that. Is it you and your fellow nurses?
If I went back to being an LNC, I would do it all differently. I would focus on forging relationships with actual, practicing LNCs who are so successful in their line of work that they do not feel the need to charge you nearly $10000 for a "course" - who do not have an issue networking, sharing advice, and helping you, simply because they want to help you, and not because they have monetary value to gain from you. I would trust my own intuition when dealing with clients, instead of waiting for a misleading response. If you feel you need a 1:1 mentor, paying for that would be immensely more valuable than this program.
